Can I drink this beer ?

allright guys, My boss gave me a box of Budweiser (24 Bottles) tonight, it's expire date is 02/01/07, he say's it's safe to drink but can't put it in the bar due to it being out of date, so what do you think, I've got it in the fridge chilling now, is it safe to drink ?

beer will last for about 4 months after sell by date

No, it could kill you. Don't throw it in the bin, either, due to it being highly contaminating.

I work for an OODBDU (Out-of-date beer disposal unit) - bring it to me and I'll safely get rid of it for you.

It's safe to drink.

There is the difference between 'best before' and 'use by'.

'best before' = you can still eat/drink just after its best before date but it will not be as nice.

'use-by' = you must not eat/drink anything that past its use-by date, hence the word 'use'.

It's perfectly fine. Worst case scenario is that it runs through you a bit quicker than you expected.

If you can crap through the eye of a needle from 40ft away tomorrow, don't complain to me though

Its Bud, they say it tastse best in the first 6 months thats why they put a born on date on it. Most largers have like 18months expiry dates, so i would drink it.

its 1st of feb it expires

he obviously doenst want to load the fridges up with it and have to go searching through for them to remove when no one buys bud over the next few days
