Can I Fix This Headset?

Well today my headset broke

The USB Has seperated from the green thingy (below)

The USB Has broken off the end of that

now i know that i have to get the usb to go back on that but how? do i have to press it in, is there a magnet or something? i am clueless about these things, any help would be great.

its soldered on so if its come off, its snapped, you could try re-solder but it wont be as strong as the original joint

those pictures are really blury.
can you tell if you have snapped the pcb?

Post a high res pix with proper lighting so we may be able to see it clearly.the green thingy your saying must be the pcb.you may be able to solder it but i suggest you put some solid wires and solder it with the wire to make the joint a little stronger.

Your best bet would be to get a standard usb cable, and strip it down to just the wires and trying to solder that onto the pcb instead should be more secure and will have a bit of play so won't snap off easily even if the soldering isn't up to scratch.
