Can i flash my Nokia 8800 ?

Hi Guys

Got a 8800 and unfortantley ive had a few problems with it, it started crashing a lot and now it turns off then crash's pretty much instantley ! So i want to have a go at flashing it before i throw it on the e of bay !!!!

If i can flash it does anyone have a link to the firmware / instructions and also what kind of cable will i need

The data cable that came with the phone and there should be a link on the Nokia site for the firmware upgrade, you may have to download software as well

Mmmmm after looking around it seems you have to take it into a Nokia Service Ceter to get it flashed :/

Kind of puts me of getting a Nokia now tbh, i liked the fact i could update my SE as and when

A lot of Nokias can be updated via the site, using the data cable in the box.

Didn't help me though.
