Just a quick question, becouse i've never dealt with such thing before. A friend of mine bought touch screen pc, HP i think, and he wants me to format it. Do i format it the same way as anything else, then install touch screen drivers and thats that? or is there a way that they are formated? i will be using external keyboard and mouse so no problem there

What brand of pc is it? couldnt you just use the recovery partition? If he's looking to remove all the branded software, there is usually an option for a windows / drivers only restore.

Basically he has HP TouchSmart 300. Just finished the format. All went well.
I've used win7 64 prof, he had win7 64 home on it. Everything works, all drivers installed. Very happy with the result :)
