can i get admin access to sky braodband router?

i want to access my dads router through the admin page so i can get to his firewall settings but cant get access as he wasnt given that info

is this info available from sky or will they just tell me to go away?

In your Internet Browser, type in

192.168.2.1

That should take you to the settings page for the Router

What Firewall settings do you need to do the Routers?
I think they come with it pre working.

yeah i can do this
sorry i should have been more explicit with what i dont have, its the password and username i dont have

i want access to the firewall to open some ports, but without the username and password i cant do it

and also to see his line stats

Try this

User: admin
Pass: password or sky

Well all Routers are shipped with no Password.

On the Router's log in page, just press Submit with nothing entered and that should let you in.
It did for me until I set a Password
