can i get some critisism on this plz

You'll need to say what you're using it for. I'm assuming gaming, and that you really want a white build knowing you're probably overpaying in some places?

Few comments rather than criticisms:

Do you NEED the X870 ?
The case comes with 3x120mm fans already, but from my experience of the ones that came with the H5 Flow you're probably right to get different ones.
Another options is to skip the 140mm fans and the cooler and go with a 360 AiO in the top

the 140mm fans would be mounted in the bottom and the extra 120mm fan will be mounted in the rear im not keen on aios to be honest

not to sure on what mb to get with the 9800x3d

primary use would be gaming

idea is to use this new rig and hand down my existing rig to my son has his pc is old and gone kaput

For the MB avoid Asrock, I've just been looking at the Asrock subreddit and anecdotally it looks like 9800X3Ds are still dying on their boards. Although looking at stock on OCUK any non Asrock B850 starts over £220 anyway :/

Yeah read asrock are a bit sketchy with 3d chips I'm used to asus had no issues with the b650 ive got now so that's why I thought I'd stick with an asus on this 1

You're hugely overspending on some components, and going with a white theme is going to add a premium on top of that.

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £1,739.87 (includes delivery: £11.98)

On par NvME for less money, you wont notice a difference in games, the one you selected with the attached heatsink wouldn't be ideal for many motherboards either as they come with them built in.

Cheaper case which comes with fans, saves you ponying up even more money to add them.

32gb of RAM is fine for gaming unless you load up on mods or play one or two niche titles, but there's no harm in still bumping up to 64gb if you want, X3D chips don't care much about RAM timings/speed either, so don't get hung up on C30.

The AMP is a cheaper but quality power supply, pretty sure it comes with white cables included to boot, but double check, that said you could easily run the system on a good 750W supply for £80-90.

I'd personally opt for a 5070ti for the sort of money the 9070XT in my post costs, there's also the XFX Swift models for £620. Unfortunately that white tax I mentioned earlier hits hardest in this area as white models of the 5070ti fetch far too much of a premium. You could just about fit in a white 5080 with the above and still be below your initial build cost, but it's hard to recommend that GPU for the price given it's tiny uplift from the 5070ti/9070XT, I'd only consider it if you game at 4K and even then I'd be hesitant.

As mentioned earlier, the Thermalright HSF comes with a syringe of their own paste which is high quality.

The MSI motherboard is a good bit of kit, absolutely fine for gaming related tasks and if you're going for aesthetic I'd say prettier thanks to the white PCB too imo.

cheers 1will probably put order in this week some decisions to make

You might gain more traction if you PM a mod to move this to the following section:

This part of the forum really isn't going to be the best for varied views/input, only just spotted it myself.
