To cut a long story short, a phone I listed on ebay sold for £112 last night. And guess what......:

Dear seller,
Its my pleasure transacting business with you.i want to know the condition of the item,am very sorry for any inconvinience that i migth have caused you.Because am not in United Kindom rigth now,am in the United State of American rigth now.so if i give you my address in united kindom,i will not be able to receive the item.because i want the item send to my business partner son(CHRISTOPHER ADARAMODU) as a birthday gift. in west african country{NIGERIA}.I want the item posted via royalmail(international ).And i will make the payment via paypal, because is fast, easy and save.So i want the item posted to NIGERIA,on my behalf and i will be much more appreciate it if you can do this for me.so get back to me as soon as possible.I look forward to hear from you soon,so as to proceed with the payment via paypal.

So anyway, i've recieved an email today from [email protected] (Got sent to my ebay email address rather than my paypal one.... stupid nigerian messed that one up):

This email confirms that Laura Brainder has sent you 132.00GBP with PayPal for an ebay item

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To complete this payment, you must ship the item to the shipping address given to you by the buyer and provide us with the shipment tracking number to [email protected] for verification within 48hours so that we can credit your PayPal account accept or deny it within 30 days.

If you do not accept or deny this payment within 30 days, it will be cancelled and the funds will be returned to
Laura Brainder account.

Shipping was meant to be 9.99 but she sent £20. Obviously i'm not gonna send the phone, but is there anything I can do to scam them? No money in my paypal account obviously, so how have they used that @paypal.com address to email me?

First file a non-payment thing with ebay,
Then forward the emails to paypal, telling them it's fraud. (special email address but can't remember what).

Other than that, You could say they have to pay for shipping, ask for a cheque, say the moneys cleared in your paypal but isn't enough. Then send them a box of bricks but write something like computer parts on it or something, so they pay loads of import duty on it.
