Can i go from DLINK (Talk Talk Router) to Netgear router to wireless Apple airport

Hi all.

Can i do as above.

I am currently running Dlink Router supplied by Talk Talk which does not support WDS weird to Netgear WGR614v9 can i then send that wirelessly to my apple airport extreme somewhere else in the house and use it as an extender?? or is that just a no go??

just a bit more info on what i want to do.

Im trying to make the wifi reach the upstairs back rooms, i bought the Netgear WGR614v9 for £3 at a car boot this weekend on a wim thinking it may do the job. I have it working while it is wired to the D-Link TalkTalk router but obviously that doesnt get me anywhere unless i have a long cable. which i dont want.

I also have a airport Extreme at another house which i am moving out of so will bring that with me and try to use it as an extender, but I'm not sure it will work as i dont think i can take in the wireless connection to the netgear and then kick it out again to the apple gear upstairs???

maybe i should just buy a router that has WDS enabled out the box and link it to the netgear and away we go. i was just aiming to do it on the cheap with gear i had lying around.
