Hi , Due to the HD price situation , Iv just managed to secure a 1tb hd and full version W7 before they get completely out of reach . It was my intention to get these next year for my new build , But being forced to secure the HD now , So in the meantime was intending to put the 64 bit on the new drive , and install it in my daughters comp until next year , she has a 32 bit version so her gaming and ram usage are a more limited until upgrading to 64 bit . However her 32 bit W7 is installed from purchase as a OEM i think you refer to it , its on a 160gb HD , Also ubuntu is installed 64 bit .11.10 .

My question is will having a 64 bit version installed to create any problems , (they will be on seperate drives) , or should I just simply remove the 160 GB HD with W7 32 bit . and finally , will I be able to re run W7 32 bit after I remove the new version next year ? Any help in advice as to best way around would appriciate , thanks all . Ohh the drive is only a 1tb hitachi 7200rpm 32mb cache , but its the best can find in the circumstances for the money . Is this suitable ?

Cheers , Ill look that up , Iv currently got the linex grub installer which gives me the option to go to windows loader or ubuntu , imagine what u suggesting is something similar , I dont know how the grub installer would work out diff windows versions , Dont mind deleting it all completely if iv got a 64 bit w7 installed . Just dont want to destroy the origional 32 bit version which will be handy to still have on there , when I come to pass it on .
