Can I Have PC & Console Sound through the same Headset

Hi guys I have a retarded question for you

I'm looking for a way to have my PC & Xbox One Sound coming through the same Headset (at the same time), the reason being that I live on a TS server & still want to be able to hear my games through the Headset whether I'm playing on the PC or Console) does anyone know if theirs a way to set something like that up?

Im about to buy a new Monitor if that makes a difference (sorry if that's a stupid thing to say, I know nothing about how sound works), Im open to any suggestions whether it involves buying Sound Cards, Amps, Adapters etc basically anything to reach my goal.

If you need any more information from me please ask.

There probably is a way of doing it, but one way I saw a while back which was quite ghetto was someone bought a mixamp for Microphones and plugged each source in to the imputs and a pair of headphones on the output

@Mana do you know if it works with the Xbox One?

I also found something called the ASTRO MixAmp, anyway I'm still looking if anyone else has any recommendations

It will work with the xbox one since the xbox one has a digital out socket.

Ive bin looking into it some more & it looks good, could you possibly explain the wiring setup a little more (Ive noticed theirs allot of options with the device) personally I probably wouldst use the wireless headset (unless my Sennheiser's were to break) & im only interested in using the mic through the PC if that makes a difference.

I was searching online for something like this myself, its an Interesting idea,

I assume you would put your headset into the Recon, Recon to PC (through USB) & Recon to Xbox (through Optical). not sure how the mic would work (maybe have to plug that straight into the PC instead of the Recon if you don't want to use it for the console).

anyway let me know if you've tried it, (If you can get sound playing through the console & PC at the same time Id be interested in buying one myself, for me its more for the music & occasional vent chatter while console gaming that im interested in)

I run my PS3 sound through optical into my X-Fi sound card, and then use the PC as my mixer.

That said, I don't use a microphone on the PS3 - all my voice chat is on TS. Not sure how you'd accomplish using the mic for both without unplugging/plugging in, if that's what you're after.

Im only looking for audio to come through the Headset (preferably from the PC & Xbox at the same time) no mic. mic will be on PC/TS only.

Thanks for Posting (I was curious whether or not it could be done with a sound card) basically open to any & all options at the moment.
