Can i have some advice for components for my new rig

hi im looking to build a new rig but would really like some advice on certain components. This is the kinda spec im looking for

-Nice big case with lots of room
-775 socket mo board which supports at least 4gb ram
-500 gb+ HD
-quad core prosseser
(gonna buy freezer 7 pro heatsink to go with it)

I have a 620watt corsair PSU in my old rig that i will use best PSU i ever had also got an 8800GTS graphics card which i will keep to fab card also love windows xp so might have to stick with it

would be very greatfull for any suggestions

Big case wise, they probably dont come much bigger than an Anter 1200, 902 or 900. Most cases billed as "Gaming Cases" are large.

What do you like about XP? If you want all 4GB of RAM to be used you'll need the 64bit version.

very true well as i have my GPU already which is normally the main cost lets say £500, have this prosseser Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 (2.4ghz) Socket 775 FSB1066) is it woth upgrading to quad core? I do really like the look of the antec 1200 case loads of room good cooling system. i also already have 4gb of ram they all run at 800mhz but they are all 1gb sticks the 2 new ones i bought are 4-4-4-12 and the 2 old ones are 5-5-5-12, will this make a difference? I am running the 2 old sticks dual channel in slots 1 and 3. I no xp doesnt support 4gb of ram so maybe i will have to go past xp and look for vista 64bit .

So £500 is the limit anyway can be pushed tho if need be. Dont suppose u no of any good places to sell old rigs to do you?
