Hi all.

I have a Acer predator helio 300 gaming laptop and looking to get a quality audio setup for gaming.

I currently use a set of razer nari essential with the THX spatial, I'm not really impressed tbh, very boomy.

So unfortunately sound cards are not a option and wireless is a must for storage etc.

I looked at the steel series arctis pro wireless but feel they too expensive for what they are?

I also find that my nari headset is slightly too big for my head lol

Around £150 is my budget, what would you guys recommend for my needs?

Thanks

I was just away to write the same post as you pretty much so I thought I'd join in as well and see the recommendations as the more I look into stuff the more complex it seems. I've also just returned a set of kraken tournaments back after thinking the sound was not as good as I expected.
Ive been shopping around arctis and found
a set of arctis pros for £179 high res non DAC version or with DAC for £192
The new 7x for £140
The 9x for £139
But not sure which one to go for. The 2 pros put out high res sound (if your motherboard will support it) which i don't know how to find out and if it doesn't the dac will sort that but not sure if I want it out all the time. And the 7x and 9x look good cross platform but have bad reviews for pc usage unless paired with an xbox dongle.
Sorry much use help wise but Im steering towards one of the pros.

I think the arctis is what I'm going to go with.

The DAC is something I like but again makes it more difficult and more faffing when setting the laptop up.

Interested to see what other responses

The DAC version and the non DAC version are the exact same headset. If your laptop supports high res audio then you can buy the non DAC but if it doesn't you need the DAC to convert it to high res.
But I'm not sure how you would check.
