Basically I'm developing a fairly simple factfinder form for work and while I've enabled the developer options and set the "plain text content control" where I want the information typed - I could do with the actual "Click here to enter text" text to not show up when I print the document and have left that field blank.

I've done a bit of Googling and there are a few posts on various forums that suggest this can be done using Macro's - I have literally zero experience in this area!!

Is there a simple way to accomplish this or if it has to involve using a Macro, can someone give me a step by step, idiots guide as to how it's done?

Thanks...
