Can I install both drivers?

guys my previous mobo had onboard sound with the drivers installed, also on top of that I installed drivers for my SB ZX sound card, i used my ZX most times, but I had the option to pull out the 3.5mm plug from my ZX to my Mobo if I had a sound card issue.

my new gigabyte gaming 5p mobo has a creative sound core chip, can I install both drivers for my SB ZX sound card and mobo sound drivers on my PC, so I can use both if I wanted to?

coz both chips are creative sound chips so will that cause issues?

Try it, but do a restore point first.

well the mobos onboard Sound Blaster recon3di chip and software is nearly the same as the Sound Blaster ZX sound card chip and software...

Been using the onboard for the past week, today installed the ZX, my god! the difference is massive!!

I was gonna sell the ZX as the mobo had the sound blaster chip built in, no way im selling it now, but it fully works with both drivers installed..
