Can i install vista 32bit & 64bit with the same key on same PC

I brought vista ultimate full retail edition which comes with both the 32bit & 64bit DVD roms....

Can i install both 32bit & 64bit on the same PC and dual boot between them using the same key ???

Yes microsoft only give you one key and two DVD's (32bit & 64bit) in the ultimate full retail edition...

well u can't install both 32bit & 64bit and dual boot between them using the same key...

I didnt get a key with my 64bit DVD when i ordered it from MS, where was the key on the note or disk?

Oh wait you're right, it does use the same key. I've just got the one stuck inside my box.

You most probably can.

If you can dual boot two 32-bit installations, you can dual boot between a 32-bit and a 64-bit. Should activate fine, as they're both the same PC. And you're only using one at once.

it even says on microsoft site u can only install and activate ether one .

Presumably that's to stop you installing one of each on two PCs. You could dual boot XP with XP, so you can dual boot Vista with Vista. It's completely possible, and there is no difference between 32 and 64-bit - especially in the eyes of the activation servers.
 
I give it a go at installing both 32bit & 64bit editions with the same key on the same system sometime later this week and see what happens ;)
