Can I install Vista with out formatting and loosing all my movies on my drive ?

Hi I am about to install vista ultimate on my PC a bit later but I just remembered that I have loads of important data on my hard drive (family movies pictures etc)

Is there any way of installing vista with out the drive being formatted and me loosing everything ? if so can you tell me which option I need to choose please ?

Yes, upgrade (not ideal) or clean install, but leave file system intact. Some of your stuff may get put into a folder called "windows.old" When installing dont format the drive.
