No bike yet, I didn't want to jinx myself and be one of those who say...
"I've got my mod 2 on <insert test day here> so in the afternoon I'll be going on my <insert bike here>"
then they fail and are depressed
ER6n or an FZ6 for now (but now it's looking for real that may change) then for spring 2013 I fully intend to have a Street Triple R.
We stopped at a Triumph dealership for a break yesterday, owned by the company I was doing the DAS with, and the R is better in person than the pictures I've been drooling over for ages. Matt Graphite is so bloody sexy I was almost arrested for molesting the bike.

Nothing better than dreaming after a bike though!
So what sort of year are you looking at for a bike then? How come it's looking as them choices may change? Have you test rode either of them yet?
Have fun choosing your first bike though! I remember the feeling of riding away from the dealership 3 days after passing my test on my new(well, new to me) Bandit 650, such an awesome feeling!

Many congrats!!. Enjoy and take it easy to begin with.
The reason my thoughts of an ER6n or FZ6 may change, having been the bikes of choice for a couple of months now since I decided to get my licence, comes down to what's available for a price I want to pay for my first bike in 20 years.
I may just get an ER5, or similar, to tide me over the winter (all year biker as I was on my 125s in the 80s). I quite liked the ER5 I did my DAS on, though the poor thing was in a bit of a state, and as rough as a ****, and I'm sure there will be tidy examples out there, though fewer and fewer as they seem to be popular winter hacks.
It's now nice to not just be looking and wishing, I can now buy one and ride it.

Nah it's totally genuine, he was a really nice bloke who asked me to meet him in a pub carpark to start the test from there. Only cost me £150 as well 
Saying that the test centre in Aylesbury is bikeist. I don't know if all test centers are the same but there's a little room off from the main seating area where bikers go so we don't dirty the seats for the lovely car drivers. I am tempted to pop down there and sticka sign above the door to that room saying
NON WHITES

Even though I posted a pic of my, on Friday 11th November, bike in the your bike thread, I thought I'd post it here as well. Almost got an ER6n or FZ6, I had so many saved on eBay and various bike sales websites, but last Wednesday morning I found this at a dealer not too far from me. One really nice test ride later, inbetween downpours which made it fun as I was on a £975 excess if I binned it, I struck a deal.
