Ok, I am in need of a new PSU, but I have a load of old ones.
Its only for piddling about, and I have a couple of very high quality yet old PSUs.
The Motherboard is an NF7S and the PSU does not have the extra 4 pin 12v connector on it.
I was wondering...
Can I cut the square 12v connector from a dead PSU and attach is to a working PSU to give me that connection?
The 12v connection I am on about is the one thats often called the P4 connection, and it has 2x12v and 2xGND i an square plug, and its NOT the extra pins for the 24Pin Mobo connector, its the other one.
I was thinking of simply adapting a Molex plug to it.
Is that ok?
