Hi, my laptop won't boot after running a system cleaner, it just keeps saying there's a problem drawing up i can't get in to date mode either.

I have tried to run setup from usb drive, but at the point when i course keep apps and files etc. It then gives an error saying there is no comparability report, so won't go any further.

Can anyone please help?

James

try free software called rufus
Or flyby11
There's a 3rd one but forgot it's name
They offer bypassing compatibility
When they create your bootable usb for you

@JamesUK: Oof, sounds like a classic “system cleaner nuked the bootloader” situation. Happened to me once – black screen, no recovery, total lockout. If the setup’s throwing that compatibility report error, don’t bother with the keep-apps route. Go straight for a clean install. Rufus is perfect for this – like @Mcnumpty2323 said, you can tick the boxes to skip TPM, Secure Boot etc. when making the USB. Plug it in, boot from it, and if things still get stuck, hit Shift+F10 during setup and do a quick regedit for the bypass keys. Bit messy – but it works.
