My motherboard is a P5e3 Deluxe.I bought this around a year ago.Ive had quite a lot of problems with this motherboard. The first one a year ago just decided on its own when to work (95%) of the time not working when turned on(The guy helping me set up my computer said this was a relaly rare problem hes never faces before), worked fine the first time...got a replacement and its been fine up until now.

I was stupid and it was my first time ever overclocking, didnt do my research on the ram and I bought this:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-092-OC&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=1387

I then overclocked it to 1600mhz(really stupid I know)now im not 100% sure if it stayed at 1600mhz but the ram started causing problems a year later because i was messing with bios because I was having crashes in almost all games/running prime95.If I have the fsb on anything besides auto, it will not run.So I presumed I destroyed the ram by overclocking it so much, so I bought this ram:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-117-OC

Now see unless I mess with the FSB, I cant get this ram to run at 1600mhz.Because if I dont mess with fsb and just change the mhz, my computer wont even laod up you will just hear the fans on full.So at the moment I have it on 1333mhz.I then updated bios and still have the same problems, so I tried the XMP profile thingy(again, only if i mess with fsb will this work, but then I get regual crashes/graphical glitches in games)And besides either the XMP profile or overclockers site is wrong because overclockers say the xmp profile 2 is 7-6-6-20 whereas when its on profile 2 it actually says 7-6-6-28.

Ok so atm I have that ram at 7-7-7-20 1333mhz(Gonna try lower probably)I wanna know what I can bump that up to and if I can get 1600mhz with it?Or can i combine the 4 sticks of ram?

My CPU is a Q6600 at 3.6ghz with 1.35 v core and my graphics card is not overclocked btw.Temps are fine, never seen em go past 52-55.

Thanks for any help and sorry for long read.

1. No, I don't think you can mix modules. It will only cause instability and headaches for you.
2. Have you run memtest? To make sure it is not you overclock is casuing you instability.
3. Try lowering the multiplier, to rule out your cpu.

It was my cpu I think, overclock was too high and more volts didnt settle it either.

Is 1.9volts too high for my ram?I have it atm at 1564mhz or something like that and 7-7-7-20.I just wanna know if thats gonna make the ram too hot or not.
