Hi,

Just a vague question, a bit too broad perhaps, but curious none-the-less..

Can I view the history logs of my PC and other internet connected device (e.g iphone, galaxy s2, tablets etc) and can I filter some websites out?

If the answer is stupid then let me know just wanting to ask this question because my routers logs are only router-specific and don't include internet browsing.

My routers default SKY SR101 I think and I want to complete more advanced networking stuff such as prioritizing which pcs get more bandwith than others or block certain websites.

Googling tells me it can be performed through servers running linux?

get rid of that SR101 for a start.
Both of my netgear modem/routers can log all sites accessed and from which local IP (from which you know what/whose device) and will allow you to set up a block list. I had a cheap TP link modem/router which allowed bandwidth allocation per port.

OK thanks for the advice guys.

So how cheap is cheap? Does your cheap tp link router have better wireless range than the SR101? The sky router runs out of signal 3 meters from where I need it.

And what model is the tp link router? I'll just buy a cheapo one and then do all that stuff.

The main thing I'm looking for is wirelessness for my ipod/iphone/ipads etc and the features ofc. don't care about speed because my internet is 3mbps (soon 20mbs)
