Can i move the memory ram ?

Hi, my cooler just arrived(Zalman CNPS10X-Quiet CPU Cooler) and my motherboard is the AM3 MSI 770-C45.

The gap between memory ram slots & cpu cooler is very tight and new zalman cooler won't fit as touches the ram.

It will fit if i can move both memory rams to the other two slots.

The corsair memory is black and in the two black slots, can i move both to the two blue slots so i can fit the cooler.

Or is that a no no

It will still work but depending where you move the RAM you may loose the dual channel benefits, only like 5% I think.

Oh ok, i can accept 5% loss for a computer that don't sound like a aeroplane taking off :eek:

It fits, but does touch the memory slightly. will that be ok ?
