I followed a guide by the way which told me not to go over 1.5 volts and the max I have reached at these volts is 3.3ghz.

Will going any higher than 1.5 cause serious problems with my CPU and it might burn out ??

Thought I would ask B4 I did anything

thanks

Some people put up to 1.7V through their CPU but I think they're prepared to kill the chip and tend to have very good cooling (at least good water cooling).

If your temps are around 50-55 then it's probably safe to go up a notch. Any higher then that and I'd leave it the way it is. If you're getting 60C+ on a good cooler then I'd back off a bit on the volts.
