Can I plug this in anywhere else?

Just completed my new build based around an Asus P8Z68V mobo. Installed my GTX 570 and X-FI sound card and there is no where left to plug in my Bigfoot network card http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=NW-048-BF&groupid=46&catid=1597&subcat=1599

Because the GPU covers the PCIEX slot and the radiator for my watercooling is to close to the other one.

Can these cards be installed in another longer slot? I have a couple of PCIE16 slots free or if i remove the X-FI could it go in the PCI2 slot.

Help appreciated before it goes back.

Yes, they can be plugged into any PCI-E slot. Stick it an X16 if you like!

OP don't try and put it in a PCI slot.

what was your ping to start with? also sounds impossible as the network card should never be a bottleneck between a moden anyway

Ping was 46 now around 26. So im pleased. I was as sceptical as others and read mixed reviews. Does not matter im happy

Had my eye on one of these also, recently wanting to use the other slots on my p55a-ud3 to use the full potential of my system
