As titled realy can i ask a few Q's about a moded xbox on here?

When i say moded its not got the std OS on it its some forum of linux i think

Er, Linux isn't the standard OS of an Xbox, so that's ruled that out. Definately modded I'm afraid, which is a no no.

its got some stuff on there that lets u play avi files and copyed xbox games (althou i dont play copyed/downloaded xbox games)

All i use it for is for playing AVI files (as i can get 3-4 of my dvds on one dvd as a avi and its easyer for the kids to find there films)

I have never used it for any thing downloaded and this is the only thing that its bad that ive done to it / on it

am unsure but i know the xbox it over write the bios and has stolen codes or some thing from MS

Huh!

One is a NAS, one is a games console with intellectual property and a licence forbidding you to mod the OS.

Point is you're modding the hardware. It's the same principle, using own version of Linux on the Buffalo isn't what it was designed for, basically "modding" or what about users flashing videocards to get unlocked pipes, or flashing from XT to XTX??

Personally I've "modded" my Pioneer DVD writers, and iriver H140 by installing own firmware and/or OS...oohh illegal! It's only illegal because MS managed push it through legal system

NO on the xbox your not!! just moding the hardware its software and bios see above Quote or google Evolution-X dashboard then click the very top link and read
