Can I put my speakers and a headset into my soundcard?

Is it possible to put a headset (headphones & microphone) into my sound card and have my speakers in there too? So this way sound comes through both? So that I can simply turn my speakers off if I wanna play games with the headset or keep the noise down?

I have a fairly basic Sound Blaster Audigy (£21) and there are four holes in it.

You can use a double 3.5mm socket adaptor to do that.

Your mic plugs into the pink socket and the double 3.5mm adaptor into the green socket and then your speakers and headphones plugged into that.

Thanks very much. It just saves time from swapping them over. I did have my headphone set in the front of PC with the on-board sound but it wasn't too good.
