Can i record gameplay ver steam link/big picture?

I know win 10 has dvr functionality in the xbox app thing, can i use this over the steam link in big picture mode? Keep seeing good stuff in dark souls 3 invading/co oping etc and keep thinking damn i wish i could show that off!

Any tips?

If you have an Nvidia or AMD GPU they both come with recording software.

Otherwise you could get Dxtory which is a popular game recording software. If it were me I'd go with Dxtory because it has features that are missing from the Nvidia and AMD software.

He'd have to have one or the other.

Going by your signature OP, Shadowplay will work for you as you have a 970, you don't see any performance drop from what I have seen.

Haha thanks guys im aware of shadow play too just wondering if i can operate something easily over steam link with a controller at my tv?
