can i repair my motherboad???

i have recently got a new motherbaord and 2 of teh pins in the CPU are pushed far down....is it possable to get this fixed or am i too buy a new Mobo????

If you are particularly steady-handed, and have a fine enough pair of tweezers then it can be done. I've fixed a couple of socket 775 boards this way.

Did you buy the motherboard from a shop or an individual seller?

it was from another company (cant say who) but i can not return it because of this. i have had a chew on with the motherbaord the, CPU itself is fine so i dnt know how this has happened. so i was wondering if i can fix it or just be better get a new Mobo.lol.

i am at work atm but i will get a pic on tonight when i have finished. i hardly noticed when they sent it back i cudnt see anything lol my bro pointed it out after really looking at it. lol

have you tested it with a cpu? it might be fine but post some pics first n ill tell you,just dont break any off whatever you do!!!!!!!!!!

yeh i had my intel i5 in it and there is nothing wrong with my cpu itself lol so i dnt see how this has happened lol

oh yeh i defos wont be doing that lol.
