Can I RMA or return a screen under DSR for a dead pixel?

Hi guys,

Just built my new rig, which all went well. However, on my new 24" screen is a dead pixel. It's bang in the middle of the screen about 2/3rds of the way down. It glows red on a black screen and your eye can't help but be drawn to it when you change pages or something because of it's location.

Can I RMA a screen for this? If not, what's the deal with returning under DSR's? Cheers.

Unless you've got a specific dead and or stuck pixel guarantee with the monitor when you purchased it, you won't be able to RMA for it. You can however return it under DSR. Follow the retailers instructions which should be on their website, on how to return via DSR.

As has been said you can return it under the DSR but you'll have to pay to return it.

You'll have to decide if a dead pixel is worth how much it's going to cost to send back.
