Can I Run a 1440p monitor?

I'd only be using this resolution for my operating system and photoshop. Games will be changed to 1080p.

Yup, GTX 970 is more then capable of outputting at 1440p. Games which are not overly taxing / harsh settings will also work reasonably well without need to drop down to 1080p.

Ah great! It's just such a hard decision to make.. i want something with great colours that performs good... What would you or anyone else reccomend out of these?
