I currently have two 480 rads, I plan to get a 420 in the top. Could I run this all on 1 pump res keeping the noise down? I plan to buy a new pump res setup as I would like my new one to have more outlets.

Cheers.

What pump is it? If its a D5 no problem, i ran 4 x 360 on a single D5 without issue albeit i had to run it abit higher rpm to sustain the flow rate.

I have that ek though with smaller reservoir
Though also have a second one
For redundancy
but have tested it with just one pump
to simulate a pump failing
2 x 360mm and 1 x 240mm now
But did have 480mm,360mm and 240mm before
No problem with the pump rpm not
Even close to maximum
Tested at maximum its certainly not loud
Though I can slightly hear it as got my fans
At low rpm

Edit
Personally I would keep your existing pump
And add the new one
If your case can fit all those rads it shouldn't
Have a problem fitting a second pump/reservoir
Not so much because 1 pump wouldn't handle it
Just for redundancy in case of a pump failing they don't fail that often but it's still possible
Even with both pumps running they're not loud

I ran a single ddc in a bit of a mad external rad setup.. 120 x 2 / 240 / 280 / 360 and ran sweet as a nut!

Will be fine but as above do no harm having it for redundancy if you do want a new one :)

I'm running 3x 360s with a single D5, there is a 4c difference in coolant temperature between 40% and 100% pump rpm

The main issue are the blocks, not the radiators, unless is some very restrictive rad.
With that much rad area, as long as the flow is enough to keep the coolant moving, you're fine.
Just worthy mention that if the coolant moves too fast, the heat transfer from the blocks and the radiators won't be optimal. The main reason for multi pump is redundancy, or if rads and blocks are very restrictive and it's a beast of a system.
Same here, a single D5 could handle CPU + GPU and 4 360mm. A 3.2 DDC certainly would, but the poor DDC supplied with the O11 side distro by EK couldn't even bleed the system with 2 rads, and nothing too restrictive.
