Can i run an integrated graphics CPU with a graphics card?

I posted this a few hours ago but got no replies so im going to try here instead..



Really simple question. I have an AMD A8-7670K R7 cpu with integrated graphics. Can i buy a graphics card and still keep the same cpu?

I don't intend to run the integrated graphics and graphics card at the same time, i just want to use the CPU without the graphics and a graphics card.


Also could you recommend a new Psu? Low price(ish) but reliable and good.

Yes you can, you can disable the iGPU on the CPU and use the actual GPU instead.

Superflower 550w PSU will do you nicely.
