I have an LG HDTV with passive 3D (hooked up to my PC via an HDMI cable) and was wondering if it would run games in stereoscopic 3D without 3D vision tech?

In the Nvidia settings, it seems there is no option?

3D Vision comes installed with Nvidia's drivers and I have the latest version installed.

I have a stereoscopic option in the options menu but it gives me the following options: USB IR & Glasses, Wired Glasses, Pro Hub Glasses and Discovery Glasses.

Each option won't let me get far enough to enable stereoscopic 3D.

What you need is the nVidia 3DTV Play. Its free if you already purchased the 3D Vision kit (IR dongle & Glasses). Its a purchase if you don't.

There is a trial version on the site, i think.

There is a hack to get it working without 3d vision. I set it up on mine to test it and worked fine. Sounds stupid but google 'russian 3d dongle vision hack' and you'll find the answer. Didn't take long to get working either! It basically tricks the pc into thinking that you have an emitter plugged in.

Okay, so I installed the DSF x64 runtime file and then ran the init_x64.bat and enablestereo.bat files but I still can't get the Stereoscopic 3D option to work.

It states after I enable Stereoscopic 3D that the 3D Vision USB driver has not been installed, yet it comes with the Nvidia drivers (285.62) I have installed and states it is installed in the program settings (Windows 7 64bit Ultimate).

Any ideas?
