Can I send back my tft without orig box?

Found my receipt for my dead 20" philips tft - but the box is missing. Do I need the original box to send back for repair/replacement or am i stumped?

Can't see why you'd need the box, assuming you're looking for a replacement rather than a refund. Phone philips and tell them you don't have the box. With some companies the courier will fetch a new one, put your old one in the new box and take that away. Phone them and find out.

Having the box or not shouldn't be an issue. TFTs come in bloody huge boxes sometimes and it is unreasonable to expect people to keep them lying around the house.

Most important part is to pack monitor well in a good strongbox with bubble wrap and some card-protecting screen from damage for shipping back to them.

I would also take photos as well in case monitor is damage
