Can I send scented candles abroad?

Hi,

I know perfumes are prohibited but I can't seem to find any reference to scented candles in the Royal Mail/Parcelforce Prohibited and restricted items leaflet. Anyone know for sure?

Dont know for sure but I would be "Surprised" if this was a problem.

The prohibition of perfumes isnt going to be because of the smell, It is going to be because perfumes are generally volatile and flammable liquids. Whilst candles are flammable I would expect them to be low risk in most circumstances and therefore not a concern for postage.

(Though I may be wrong and there may be some other concern at play)
