can i sli 2 different makes of same card?

can i sli together a gtx 670 winddforce 3x with a asus gtx 670 both at 2gb vram only reason why im asking this is because the asus is cheap on ************ at the moment, im still not sure what other makes are fantastic for the gtx 670 i have the windforce myself and love it but going sli for bf4

if anyone else can suggest a better make for the gtx 670 then please do but at a good price

Yep, theyll work grand together. Keep an eye on temps though as non ref cards in sli, particularly on a tight spaced board can get a bit toasty.

ive ordered the extreme 6 z77 board so should be fine space wise and have the cm storm trooper also with plenty of air flow thanks for letting me know though just not found another windforce on amazon so think im going to go for it hehe

Got two wf's here in sli, top card does run upto 15c higher than the lower one. But the temps arent dangerously high, (72c). Which cpu will you be using btw?

Will be great with those cards in sli, used to run the same cpu prior to the spec in sig. Should cope with bf4 pretty well. Was an excellent setup for me in bf3.

I've got a windforce 670 running next to (or above I suppose) a KFA2, for exactly the same reason! works great, even if the non-match is toying with my OCD and making me want to WC them
