Up until October last year I had a Technet Subscription, but due to finances and not really needing test software anymore, so I cancelled. :(

My Main computer has Windows 8 onboard, and I'm quite happy with it. However I'm reading about the update to Windows 8.1, which gives a few extra tweaks and fixes, is Free!...

But reading further it say's that MSDN/Technet users will have to get the ISO from their Subscription/Site, and 'May' be able to update their systems!!

Is there another place I can get a 'LEGAL' ISO of Win8.1 Pro (I know there is no Digital River for Win8/8.1), and will it actually update my system? or am I stuck with Windows 8?!?

I've found this website...

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows-8/upgrade-product-key-only

And wondered weather my TechNet key would work?, or would I need one of the 'Placeholder' keys and change it to my Technet one after install... Would that even work???

Had a look at what apps needed updating this morning, and found this!! :D
