Can I stream from my MBP to Ipod touch 4g

Just bought a 32gb Ipod touch 4g and wondered if I could stream the content I have stored on my MBP to it instead of maxing out the Ipods storage. I was going to use it for apps.

Yes you can look for a app called air video for your ipod and then download the osx client from there website, its just a case of telling the client were your files

If all the media is all ready in your itunes then turn on homesharing as another app will not be needed this way

Or use Home Sharing, its built into iOS*. Nothing to download, just enable in iTunes and select your itunes library from your Touch.

Edit: *I think you need iOS4 for this.
