Sorry if this is a noob question but is there any way to put music on ONE ipod from multiple PCs?

I have had a look at some sites but dont want to loose all the songs on the ipod if its wrong

THanks Luke

I foolishly attempted this a few weeks ago. Went to work the next day only to find no songs on my Ipod. Doh. Now I only use one PC as the source. But you can copy your music folder (including purchased files) from one PC to another, and then open these folders in Itunes.

Or just use Winamp (with or without the mlipod plugin.. but I recommend it) on each computer... I've not had a problem!! Syncing.. Copying... Backing-up!

Yeah...simple, tick "Manually manage music and videos" on your iPod page, on iTunes. This will save to your iPod and automatically be set no matter what computer you are on.

That's it, automatic syncing is pointless, is it that hard to select the music from your iTunes library and dragging it over to your iPod a small space below? Also there's no risk of wiping your library if you wanna use it on another computer. :)

Personally I like having control over my iPod, automatic syncing with my library removes that privilege, plus when I wanna try new albums out I always put them on the iTunes library first, at least having it manual means they don't automatically get transferred to my iPod.

I meant if the computers have iTunes and really that's not true, you can use an iPod on any computer, well exclusing the iPod Touch/iPhone, all you gotta do is go onto the iPod through My Computer and enable hidden files and folders, go to iPod_control and bingo, all your music is in there.
