Can I "un-pair" my PS3 remote from my PS3??

I've got one of the bluetooth PS3 remote's but would like to use it with my new media centre PC but I'm a bit worried that I can't seem to see a way to "de-pair" it with my PS3!?!?!

I've been into the options and tried a few options surrounding the management of bluetooth devices but there doesn't seem to be an obvious way to do it!

The thing is I don't want the pressing of the PS button to kick my PS3 into action if I press it by accident!

Assuming you're using a Dual Shock 3 just look at the back of the controller, there's a small hole on the right hand side you just need to hold a paperclip inside.

Sorry, I meant I have one of these remote's (or similar - not sure of the exact version) rather than the usual PS3 controllers:

Apparently it will only pair with one device at a time, so you should be fine.
