Hi guys, ive had my cheapo laptop for 18 mths now and want to upgrade the ram from 1gb to 2gb. Its a HP g5000. I have lost the manuals that came with it so how can i check if i can upgrade this? ive done some searching on the web and some results say yay and some say nay! Anyone help me? cheers

check underneath on the label for the exact model m8
it should be something like g5005ea
then go here http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/prodTopCategory?product=3337828&lc=en&cc=us&dlc= and find your model, should tell you in the specification sheet how much it is upgradable to.
