¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I've recenty got an MX revolution, and I've found it works real well both on my PC and mac.

Now, if I got hold of a 2nd USB reciever, could I easily switch between 2 computers?

That's strange, are you sure there isn't a tiny little button on both? Checked on the bottom?
Yep double and triple checked, no reconnect button.
With Synergy you don't even need to press a button! You just scroll across off the screen and your mouse appears on the other computer ;)
Here's a link - http://synergy2.sourceforge.net/
I'll check it out. I may not be using both computers together very often tho, I mainly just wanted to avoid having to replug my USB reciever everytime I wanted to change between PC and Mac.
This! I have an MX Revolution, a bog standard keyboard and the screen connected via an ATEN branded KVM to both my PCs. All I have to do is double-tap scroll lock and the inputs are switched between the PCs.

Plus you're right, the MX Revolution doesn't have a reconnect button. Never noticed that before.
I think this sounds like what I need, thanks. I've got a KVM already but it's an old school one with no USB (just VGA, mouse and keyboard PS2 ports).

I'll look for one with USB, I didn't know that they existed! :)

I don't really need need audio switching as I have multiple inputs on my amp.

I wouldn't mind one which has DVI ports tho, do they exist? I could only see VGA ports on the Belkin and Edimax ones.

EDIT: Just found Avocent make some with DVI ports. :)
