Can I use 5 memory sticks on a x99 build?

Ok, so one of my ram sticks is dead so they sent me a package of 2 sticks.

I use to run them in Quad Channel Mode on a x99 build.

So my question is, can I run 5 ram sticks instead of 4?

My system is as following:

i7 6900K cpu
msi x99a godlike gaming
Corsair dominator platinum ddr4 3200 mhz ram each is 8GB

I normally have 32gb of ram in Quad channel but question is if i can run 5 sticks with overall 40GB of memory and how would it even run?

oh so it won't make all my other rams run in single channel or whatever? that's what I was afraid of.
