Hey all

I've just found a BT Voyager 2091 Wireless ADSL Router.

Its got 1 ethernet port, and a built in modem. All the PC's in the house are wired, so would buying a Hub/Switch enable all of us to be able to use wired connections?

I just wanna know if a hub would work this way. Also, if all the pc's are connected through one ethernet port on the router, would we notice a slow down in speed?

Thanks :)

Good, that router only works for BT customers. You can connect upto 6 clients with it. Where'd you find it?

In my cupboard :) Apparently my dad recieved it with a free upgrade, but never told me about it.

When you say it can have upto 6 clients, do you mean 5 wireless + the 1 wired? Because we only need 4 pc's hooked up wired. So if i get a switch and plug it into the ethernet port on the router, it will work ok?

Should work fine with the switch, I presume its just a nat or dhcp limitation. I have one lying around too, but I dunno if it legally belongs to me or not...
