Hi all,

I am wanting to extend the wireless cover in my house, i have an old 3com adsl router, can i use this as an access point and if so how? There are no settings on the 3 com to do this

disable DHCP
assign it a valid static IP address
connect it to the existing network using one of its WAN ports
configure the wireless as you want

Almost correct, but plug it into the existing network using one of the LAN ports. I guess that's fairly self-explanatory anyway since the only WAN interface is the RJ11 ADSL port, but just to be clear.
