I'm using the m-audio audiophile 2496 soundcard with Aego M 2.1 speakers, which gives me some rather lovely (and loud) sound. Unfortunately, I'm moving home from uni for the summer, and my PC is going to be in the living room, and my parents probably won't appreciate Iron Maiden drowning out the TV all the time.
Headphones would be a great solution, but I can't find the right socket to plug them into.
I'm not really sure what I'm doing, but I think I need to somehow plug them into the back of the subwoofer. Is there anything I can get that'll convert the single plug on my headphones into the red and white plugs that'll go into the back of the subwoofer (if that'll get them working)? Or is there another way around this problem that I'm not aware of?
I suppose I could go back to my onboard sound for a while, but I've got so used to having great sound quality...
