Hiya, I'm confused about buying an OS, wondering if i actually need to spend.

I have an old win 7 PC, legit and stuff, but i burn the mobo so now useless really, but I have the Intel SSD with the OS on it and all my stuff!

Now I was given an old laptop with Vista, pfft, cant get it to work, I have no disks, legit though still, anyways I took out old corrupt SSD with Vista on it and just slid in my intel SSD with Win 7 on it and Bingo! It works.

Ok, im about to spend 1500 quid odd later on new haswell build, and that 85 quid would do nicley for extras for meh new build, so the question is, can I use that copy of Win 7 on my new build, thus saving me coin?
Do I have to use the old Intel SSD with Win 7 on it in my new build, or can I just install....somhow... a copy of Win 7 on my NEW Samsung SSD im about to buy?

Goos i know i'm making this more complicated than it needs to be, but I resent buying Win7 again.

If for instance i get hold of a mates disk ( i dont have a disk btw) can I install that on new SSD and use the activation key from old PC with burned out mobo?

Crumbs... Thanks for read, and thats for help

Cheers, Zoob

Or bite the bullet and go Win 8 ans stop farting about, oh btw, is OC still doing the win 8 trial for 3 months or somthing?
