Hello all.

I just setup SSH on my macbook and I'm using dyndns to update the IP so that should it get stolen I have access to it if it's on the net.

I was wondering if it's possible to use my own register1.com domain name and a subdomain and a program running on my mac to do the same. So I could have macbook.tobes.com pointing to my mac and home.tobes.com pointing to my home pc?

Not clued up with networking and all that jazz so feel free to tell me how this will not work :p

Thanks,
Tobes

I'm getting access denied when trying to go through the CNAME address but the original dyndns address is working fine. Could it be that it's because my host doesn't allow SSL connections unless I have a certificate? (costs £50)
