I'm toying with the idea of getting a PS4 Pro in the new year and depending on what I could get for my existing launch PS4 I might have it in our top room as one for the kids to use - question is, will one PSN account work on both systems simultaneously?

I've currently got a PS3 up there that works fine on the same account but wasn't sure how it would react to being on two PS4's!?!?!? (ie. digital downloads that are tied to the account - can I download it on both?)

Yes you can I upgraded to slim ps4 as my standard one was so loud, i used both for a bit played digital games it worked fine

OK, I'm really struggling to get my "family management" set up correctly - I've bought a new PS4 Pro, which I will be using in the living room - but I've decided to put my launch PS4 in the kid's play room upstairs - how on earth do I get it set up so that they can just go upstairs, press the PS button and log in as themselves as opposed to it logging in as me (and therefore logging me OUT of the PS4 Pro downstairs??)

I've tried setting each of the kids up as users but a) despite setting the parental control to allow play of games rated "7", they are locked out of playing Lego Marvel Superheroes, (which is a 7!) and b) they don't seem to have access to any of the games linked to my PS+ account!?!?

Additionally, when (if!) I do get this set up - is there any way for the game saves to be shared between the two consoles? (I'm just thinking it would be useful for the kids to be able to continue any game upstairs or downstairs!)

Can anyone point me towards an "idiots guide" to getting this set up?

The new PS4 Pro had been activated as the "primary" PS4 - so I assumed that the launch PS4 had been removed as the primary (although I didn't check!)

Bizarrely I've just re-activated the launch PS4 as the primary one and it seems to be allowing access to the downloaded games when logged in via the kids' user account (although it's not giving any online access - not a huge issue as they are too young to be playing online anyway, the only game that might be affected I guess could be Minecraft as I believe some features are online??)

Logged on to the Pro downstairs and it's still giving me access to the online and downloaded games so I guess that's (sort of) solved the problem - although I'm still struggling to get my head around why I've had to activate the OLD PS4 at the primary one to get this to work????

If its the same as Xbox then you want your kids PS4 to be primary on your account meaning any profiles can access your games, then on the new one you will have access to your games if you are signed in.
