Can i use software to replaicate 1:1 pixel mapping on my 24"?

You can do it in the nvidia control panel, although I can't see to use that option with this 24 DGM although I could on 20" sammys.
 
ok i have been fiddling with the "manage custom resolutions" area and the flat panel scaling and I don't seem to be able to find the right settings as whever the resolution changes it just gets stretched as if i had changed the res to lower than standard anyway without touching anything.

Bizarre thing is when i test my custom resolution of 1680 * 1050 and get a preview for 15 seconds it looks perfect.

any help appreciated :)
